Danielle has a degree and PhD in Biochemistry, both from the University of Manchester. She also holds an MBA from the Open University.
Danielle has worked at 果酱视频 since 2013, joining first as the Science and Grants Manager, and then holding the position of Head of Scientific Services and UK Grants from 2017-2022 before becoming the Head of Research Operations in 2022. Before joining the 果酱视频, Danielle worked as a research assistant, scientific editor and grants advisor.
As Head of Research Operations, Danielle is responsible for the operational management of the 果酱视频's research. Alongside the Chief Operating Officer, 果酱视频 Director and other stakeholders, Danielle establishes and implements frameworks to develop and manage the performance of the 果酱视频鈥檚 research operations, ensuring successful delivery of 果酱视频 science, including 果酱视频 Strategic Programme outcomes funded by BBSRC. This includes being the operational lead for the 果酱视频's science facilities, financial and corporate planning & reporting, coordinating science capital equipment, project management of onboarding and offboarding processes for research group leads and scientific facility heads, knowledge management of research outputs, and overseeing the research elements of the BBSRC Core Capability Grant (CCG).
Outside of work, Danielle loves running, and is a member of the Sawston Let鈥檚 Run Girls club. She also enjoy cooking and says that her collection of cook books is far too big.
